DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO ACCESS YOUR ON-LINE BOOk using Powerschool

One feature to note about the online book is that you can have the lesson read aloud to you. All you need to do is once you are on the page the lesson is on you can click on the speaker on the upper right hand corner of the page. It will then insert a number of play buttons throughout the page. Click on the play button for the area you would like read aloud.

Directions to Turn off pop-up blocker
To use all the features that the student book has to offer you will need to turn off pop-up blocker. Follow the steps below to make this happen.
- Click on the three lines in the upper right and corner of your browser
- Click on SETTINGS
- Scroll down to the bottom and click on SHOW ADVANCED SETTING
- Scroll down just a little until you find the PRIVACY section and click on CONTENT SETTINGS
- Scroll down to POP-UP and click on ALLOW SITE TO SHOW POP-UP BLOCKER

Once you have selected a chapter you have the options of the following resources.
It is arranged in folders A-Z. All you need to do it click on the folder that starts with the same letter of the word you are looking for. A definition will pop up and you can click on the speaker button in the upper left hand corner
and it will read the definition out loud to you.

- Homework Video Tutors – It walks you through an example or two in case you get confused while working on your homework
